Technically diabetics who take insulin are also on HRT. "Hormone replacement therapy" kind of a generic term, but the (a)moral panic in the news solely focuses on trans use cases. No one has a problem with cis menopausal women upping their estrogen as a preventative measure against Alzheimer's.

I've gotten a lot of static about hormones for polycystic ovary syndrome. I've been told I don't need it, that I should have a period every month, that it's dangerous to halt my periods, all untrue. HRT isn't well-understood or easy to access for pre-menopausal cis women, either.
