2/2 Or, worse case, until Wizards decides to revoke access for whatever reason. I know streaming and other subscription services have numbed us all to the ideas of media ownership, but the nature of #TTRPG is such that this is a deliberate anti-consumer choice.

I felt the same until I realised I could “Print to PDF” or similarly save their material for offline browsing; they made the book contents some pretty basic HTML, so it saves fairly nicely with little effort in case you want to use it offline or future-proof your purchase, DRM-free. 1/?

Workiiin' aaas desiiigned It is in their interest to keep people subscribed every month forever, which means a constant rotation of phasing out materials and replacing them with new materials, a goal which is not served if people own permanent physical books
