That is truly horrible, Julie. I can't understand how anyone would take credit for the work of someone else, particularly when the work is as personally meaningful to us as our poetry is. Doing so is so dishonorable and reckless. So sorry this happened to you.
Beautiful sonnet in couplets. Bill Knott was amazing. I once translated a poem of his into Spanish and corresponded with him. Wonderful, generous poet.
