so i bought a campsnap camera. ...and it's one of the worst cameras i've ever owned. in fact it's worse than that awful generic aliexpress camera i bought last month. it appears their idea of "film" is ridiculously grainy, overblown & blurry images.

all the "amazing" and "aesthetic" photos online are definitely heavily edited and/or were taken with an ND filter.
