I thought verticals stripes were supposed to be slimming?

me, taking a mirror selfie, sticking my tongue out. i am lifting an off white polo shirt, with two sets of verticals stripes. thick stripes on the left which are red brown and black, and thin stripes on the right which are brown, red, black, red, brown. my belly is visible with the lifted shirt, and it is sitting on my black leather belt and jeans. you can see my belly hair, arm hair, and large beard.
