We will see how the final result lands, but if this holds it does seem likely that given a choice between the center and the far right, voters chose the far right. Given a choice between the left and the far right, they chose the left. How about that!

The thing is that the stuff voters are angriest about, the real financial problems of their lives, the far right has no credible answers for. The minute they get power they move to the center on economics. Bardella could not have telegraphed this more clearly!

Of course, it took the center to recognize the threat and join in a united front to stop the right. So I assume that means the American left will wisely join in a united front to stop the right here. Amazing how everyone was able to put their differences aside for the greater good.
