The good people at the Haitian Times planned a community meeting in Springfield tomorrow. Now it has been cancelled and moved online because of ongoing threats. Despicable.

Very normal and first-world country-like thing to have happen.

I did my master’s thesis decades ago on the challenges Haitian journalists in Queens faced trying to cover assassinations of their own. I’ll never forget their warm, welcoming community.

Beyond dispicable. The hate has to stop! As in NOW!

Using violence or the threat of violence to silence others is terrorism. This is terrorism.

Absolutely sick. I have been through this community many times. I think immigrants and all decent people there must feel abandoned. We just let them do this?

Remember when the free speech warriors were mad about peaceful protests getting speakers canceled? Apparently it's OK when you use threats of violence instead. 😡

Trump, Vance and the racist, fascist "GOP" have a lot to answer for. Let's hope that nothing happens. If a single person is harmed, they are responsible

Time to make some noise to JD's Cincinnati Archdiocese about how much of a hypocrite he is: (513) 263-6618

Ugh. Sending good energy to Gary Pierre-Pierre, his team at the HT--and also to the Haitian community in SpringfieldOH. 😥
