Looking for thoughts/inspiration for my political psychology and political identities courses. Psych is a large section (35) aimed at 2nd years, the identities course is a senior seminar (< 12 students). I want to transition from mostly articles to a book chapter/popular writing + article approach
Second question. I'm actually concerned about American Democracy right now. This NYT article made me realize how important it is to expose students to anti-democratic threats and realities. I want to use resources that get at the psychology and importance of democracy www.nytimes.com/2024/01/08/w...
First question: Sharlet's "The Family" is looking like a strong contender for my identity politics seminar this semester. Maybe even my political psychology course. ¿Anybody have thoughts?
