My Grandpas old Kodak Retina IIa, it seems to still work but I haven't shot any film with it yet. My plan is to use it on my cousins wedding so even though our grandpa isn't alive anymore he can still be there in a way and gift her the developed pictures as a wedding gift #analog#photography
I signed up for a Japanese class that will start in October. I am looking forward to one day being able to converse in japanese and watch/read japanese media in its original language. And since I want to train karate in okinawa eventually, it will make that experience easier as well
I feel like it's way more social here, idk about mastodon as I haven't used it as much but I do think there is more genuine engagement here (probably on mastodon as well)
Recently got Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 on the DS and Dragon Quest V on android (would have gotten it on DS but the western release is overpriced af). In my quest to play a good variety of non pokemon monster tamer games.

Which I can not imagine bothered anyone but apparently it did. I am convinced some mods also just thrive on holding power over people and love to ban people when they dislike someone even if they havent broken any rule, especially if said someone is neurodivergent. Makes em feel bigger or something
The reason I was given by someone who stayed there was just that they behaved differently, not in a bad way, just "not normal" whatever that even means. All I could think of is their writing (was a discord) seemed childish and hyper when the topic was their special interest
I run Bazzite on my laptop to try and see if every game and my workflow can be taken over to linux. Bazzite also has the advantage that its immutable (can't change system core), meaning I can't just mess things up as a noob linux user (i have my raspberry pi for messing stuff up xD)
