I've lost count of how many times I've heard one of our selection committee members or a hiring manager at one of our employer companies tell me "this applicant is so much better than their resume!"

Perhaps that's to be expected in a program that is specifically serving students who are seeking their very first internship in aerospace... but it's still a barrier to entry.
