Yeah, when I tried to get diagnosed it costed two months of rent and had a 6 month long waiting list... And they had no tests for adults. They used the same protocol as they did for children!

Holy shit. They told me it would be between $7000-9000 for testing, out of pocket. My therapist said being a queer trans person with severe mental illness, though, it could literally be dangerous for me to pursue a diagnosis in Texas. I hate this place.
