Actually if you're at all interested in extremely unique, cool, retro games, check out the PS1 title, Blue: The Legend of Water. It was Japan-only and translated by Hilltop. It's an incredible underwater sci-fi adventure swimming game. 10/10 experience.

the premise of this game is you play as a cheery girl who's the daughter of a research team investigating some underwater ruins in the ocean and you have a dolphin partner who you can use to solve puzzles, hold switches, chase off sharks etc, it's surprisingly intuitive.
