A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night stunned me with how great it is. I watched it in a whim while scanning Kanopy and it’s definitely in my top 25.

I really want to see The Substance. I loved Revenge and I really want to see her take on body horror. Possessor is provably my most “This isn’t that bad” movie, but that was probably due to watching a lot of early 90s anime OVAs. 😁

The horror host one is amazing. Cat as Joe Bob Briggs is amazing.

And I’m in the same camp with Martyrs. Love it but I can’t really recommend it to anyone unless they’re in a position where they’ve likely already seen it.

Both lists are really solid, especially The Haunting. There’s a lot of movies that work as horror 101 recommendations and these are really good.

I kind of want to rewatch Thunderbirds 2086, but I have a feeling it would be an “oh, I forgot it got _that_ racist” experience.
