There was also adoption of a bunch of seal pups by said sea lions who were dressed as stereotypical 19th-century explorers. One with a monacle. I have no idea what my brain was trying to sort out last night, but I'd love to one day reach that fairground. It's got a kickass rollercoaster. T-T

in quite a nice way I might add, construction behind that of some big-ass building, a car driving into a wall at speed then driving off without one of the front corners leaving a trail of broken glass, and never ever reaching said fairground. ... What on earth? o.0

Re-reading this makes me wonder if the first bit about putting a little more focus on what I'm interested in might actually be what helps me... Hm. If I'm actually working on a new asset or actor while learning that might be it. Little successes to encourage. Thanks. ^^

'From scratch' basically means "I have little to no experience in doing this, and really would like to find a way to learn this that I'm not just going to give up on and feel like a failure again". That's unfair of me to be asking of random strangers online though. :/

Well, for starters - I have no code memory. At all. It confuses me. Less an issue with some engines thank goodness. Many of the unique terms still confuse me. I'm getting better at that. I'm having problems sticking with this because in my mind, it's not as if I'm going to succeed.

I am starting smaller. The goal is to make something very 'mid-90s, first 3D games' in aesthetic, but an unfinished prototype. (which helps justify scuff and short length). My other bigger issue is that I am not someone with a code memory, but that's less an issue with some engines.
