I love this bc if you do this in a store of any size you could hypothetically be wandering the store with your Extremely High Value Treasure for an hour, so obviously you are not going to be observed for every moment, and they then trust you to ring your own items, how does this make any sense

How I learned the death penalty is always immoral. 🧵 When I was writing for Law & Order, I did an episode about the death penalty. One of our tech advisors was the ME who ID’d the bodies after 9/11. He was also a cantor at his synagogue. Great guy. And very very smart.
