Let's go with something more modern: Fire Emblem Three Houses is not only my favourite Fire Emblem game, it's the best game on the Switch. With the best story in Fire Emblem, fantastic gameplay, and possibly my single favourite protagonist of all time in Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd. 10/10 game.

Indie game time! Slay the Spire is possibly the most addictive roguelike I have ever played. With 4 characters that all play entirely different, deck building that requires actual thought, and combat that somehow never feels repetitive, StS is worth playing no matter what genre you're into!
