If the altar stone at Stonehenge was transported some of the way by a glacier, it is most likely it would have been plucked from subsurface bedrock. Once deposited as an erratic it would be exposed from then til now. So could try 36Cl cosmic nuclide geochronology to date the surface. If it was

consistent with a glacial period such as the Anglian or Wolstonian then it would give a date consistent with such a period 🤔
