I appreciate people coming in from twitter making another bad decision but id request yal make an effort to stay active here, legit just mirror posts to twitter here if you want to stay active in both it takes 5 seconds. This will not be the last shitty twitter choice that happens I promise.
There’s an app called buffer that I use to cross post. Highly recommend it.
This site has issues too, but there's a constant effort to improve on issues here while twitter is only getting worse. I think its worth trying to grow a community here on a platform that is more overall positive. Personally its a better experience but its gonna take time and effort to grow.
I'm only keeping my Twitter account active so I can watch it all burn from a great vantage point. Almost no posting outside of contests going forward.

thiss it took me a good while to actually start using my bluesky but with sky follower bridge being a thing now it's so much easier mirroring posts gives people a reason to stop using twitter and is inclusive toward the people who stopped already!!
100%. It’s up to us if we want to build a community. People should ask for something if they’re not willing to put the effort themselves. I’ve done my best to use this site primarily for the past 2 months & I feel like I’ve had far better conversations here than on Twitter. Anyone else can too.
I will mention it was hard for me in particular to mirror posts because most of my activity on Twitter were replies and retweets. Luckily Bluesky's growing and more people are joining so my interaction here will grow naturally.
