A friend w/ 3 kids left her partner and got a restraining order. He ended up committing suicide. But if she’d stayed with him and hadn’t been in a safe space, that suicide might have been murderous. Vance thinks she should have stayed with him/risked her own life and that of her kids. Appalling.
Vance is a monster. The appalling & monstrous (& misogynistic) Peter Thiel wouldn't have underwritten Vance’s political career if he was remotely normal. Both men have tremendous contempt for ordinary people.
