That's what a lot of people did. Wish I had one when I encountered mine. I never knew about it all when mine appeared. ^-^;

I only knew about using a master ball on them when a friend told me that's what I had to do. Haven't managed to get a masterball myself. I got so lucky with the pokeball, it's ridiculous. I assumed no masterball meant no chicken for me.
