Considering the amount of Female characters in ShB/DT, you just know there was an army of designers with backlogged ideas who were dying for the opportunity-

"This would not have been possible in the game before Dawntrail" sums up a lot of my praise for this xpac: they showed us that FFXIV is ready to do something different for the next 10 years of content!

(which, btw, is still one of my favorite piece of design on a XIV character!)
