This! THIS!! Writing is the hard part but also the rewarding and fun part. It’s hard because you are doing the work of thinking and processing and integrating. It’s rewarding because doing those things teaches you stuff. You come out on the other side changed from the work you did.

Delegating to AI is delegating to a pile of software you know nothing about and will have to check anyway. How many generations of delegating to "AI" before humanity loses any pretence to the Sapiens part of the species label?
