Thx! Yeah, around that timeframe. That knight with fancy abdomen(!) was painted in ipad around this time of the year in 2020. Still a long journey awaits! I should repaint that guy someday haha

Experienced artists do it all the time. They pick some image, lets say photo. And break it down to 2/3/4 values. This will teach values and simplification
Np! U are welcome. I wouldn’t say my process is something worth of studying 😅 I am jumping all around canvas and doing stuff. But In any case be my guest. One thing that was helpful for me at the beginning - paint in values (bw). At least as a practice. It will help u develop the feel for “values”
