I was thinking of having to resign based on my shoddy pay, but a guy down the street told me he'd give me luxury vacations to keep up the charade of being a fair and impartial housekeeper, and it was just a gift that kept on giving though I did nothing to earn it. Imagine my husband's disbelief.
He needs to cut back on his avocado toast consumption, not take bribes from billionaires. (imo)

This has always killed me about Clarence Thomas. Clearly, he wants to live a life of luxury that he cannot pay for with his Supreme Court salary. Which is fine! But the answer should be to resign and go into private practice/consulting/lobbying. He should not be able to have it both ways.
