This is the second time in 20 years BP pulled this. Last time they invested in a bunch of fake solar facilities for tax credits (there's one just outside Frederick MD that I actually applied for a job in). Nothing but empty buildings with minimal staff. It was always green washing.

They make a note that this trend started before the pandemic, and OF COURSE IT DID. We have literally systematically eliminated gathering places that aren't bars. So anyone under 21 or who doesn't/can't drink is just shit out of luck when it comes to congregation.
