far from a doomsday prepper. What I mean is mentally. I have a strong feeling within my lifetime, we will see the use of such weaponry again, and the modern bombs, are FAR more destructive than what was used 78 years ago. we need to be mentally ready to deal with that reality when it happens.

I think ultimately we're on the same page Defaulty, I'm just less willing to trust those leaders NOT to given historical precedents. we've had a good 80 year run without them being used again. And time dulls reluctance to use such weaponry. And I'd rather prep for the reality of it happening.
