That visual (three way split screen), I can't tell you. The conceit though, has been done, also in comedy. To my delight of course.

It's been referenced. Certainly in classic film. But it should definitely be referenced *more* :)

Weber's triangular split screen (shown here) from "Suspense" is one of my fave examples.

And full disclosure? I'm of a different (older, would be my guess) "generation" ;)

If it is true that people have finally internalised, that you oughtn't to be a martyr to other people's expectations: good! Dang, it's about time!

Well. I get the sense that it has to do with hitting an age where you've had (inevitably) to sacrifice stuff. The knee jerk seems to be "I SACrificed schtuff and now SO SHOULD YOU" whereas, why? You know. Other people, younger people may simply not decide to. And in fairness? Good for them. 1/2

Right? Last night I was enjoying Anthony Powell's costumes more than ever. I've never been able to peg what the hell year it's supposed to be (the novel is 1941 and there's clearly no war going on). Everybody just looks very jazzy and Old Hollywood, with a large dose of 1982.

Siamese cats *tend* to look like they're only barely putting up with our nonsense. As they have to put up with our nonsense constantly ;). (What a fan-tas-tic pic! Thanks for that <3)
