Totally not your fault. Media outlets have their own agenda and no interest in you other than product. Which is fine, but a hard lesson to learn. I learned the hard way as well.

But you are right to be sad. Footnotes are always better than endnotes. Hard to keep the joke alive until the end of the chapter. (Or maybe it’s just me. I read the end notes at the end of the chapter. Can’t be bothered to flip back and forth.)

You're probably right. However, I continue to hold on to the possibility that AI goes the way of the Metaverse and Smart glasses and 3D video games. Certainly in the case of the Metaverse we've seen companies throw billions at a dead end.

This will be interesting. I am always interested in designer intent and it wouldn’t be my vibe to find it limiting.

1776 is one I bought for a song recently. Funny how a game that didn’t appeal when first published can catch your interest years and years later.
