Yeah. Went to a bar mitzvah in February at a reform synagogue and felt really uncomfortable because it was slightly mentioned. Along with the prayer for Israel that’s part of the fucking service. Narrowly avoided another bar miztvah a couple weeks ago. I used to be proud of being raised Jewish 😞

Well, it depends on what you call far right. Supporting Israel is kinda what they are supposed to do, and Jews in general do that. That, IMO is not "far right" Progressive, and in fact most, synagogues support a 2ss.

Gotta be hard to come up as a Jewish kid learning that Israel is a vital concern to Jews everywhere and then make the jump to realizing you've been supporting an apartheid state the entire time. I might retreat into blinkered liberal Zionism too.
