Yeah it sucks. Feels like people looking for an opportunity to make fun of a legitimately cool sport.
Honestly one of the things I really liked about it was the format seemed to preserve a lot of the art to it. In comparison to a like, gymnastics or trampoline routine where everything has been very codified, you've got the head to head aspect, the importance of responding to the music, it felt good
As someone who does know things about it, what did you think of the Olympic coverage? I found what I watched to be a lot of fun, but I really have no familiarity with it.

I'm overall enjoying it but I'm not sure I actually think it's good. It's full of changes and things that make me perk up and say, "Oh, that's different, interesting" but I don't know if they really pay off or if they're just changes for the sake of novelty.
