Should I play the demo before playing the game?

The demo is literally the full game, with a cutoff stopping you playing past day three of exploring sidequests. Play the demo if you want to not commit to paying before trying, but if during the demo you go "Yes, this is my jam", just buy the game and move to the paid game with your save.
