This looks to be a pretty devastating hurricane. But don't worry for the owners of insurance companies that cover the affected areas... the U.S. taxpayers will be covering most of the bills. Remember Katrina? Storm surge is a flood, not a storm... that's federal flood insurance, hot home ins.

Need a new keyboard. Almost grabbed an apple magic keyboard then saw it still comes with a lightning port for charging the battery. Seriously? So a full year after the iPhone and AirPods were able to switch to USB-C these are still on lightning? Trying to purge every lightning device not buy more.

This kind of thing used to make me pretty happy. Seemed like good citizenship to genuinely help people empower themselves. But right now this feels like the opposite and it’s really depressing. I think it’s because I simply don’t believe this is designed in any way to empower anyone. 😞
