14. Total War: WARHAMMER I love Total War, and there is no Total War game I love more than Warhammer. It's also a really interesting game dev saga! Three full games that all combine into a single mega-experience. I love it. :D

13. Mount & Blade (1 or 2) Mercenary-sim. There's something real special about cresting a hill and going down it with a hundred+ armored knights riding in your wake. The kind of large-scale combat that mount & blade offers is really freaking cool.

12. Roots of Pacha Before Fields of Mistria, this was my go-to Stardew Valley++. Stone-age settings are very rare, so it's really fun to see one that is focused on progress, community, and all-around good vibes. Combat is replaced by puzzles, which makes it even better.

11. Mechanicus An underrated strategy game with great writing and atmosphere, and really fun combat/puzzle. Raid necron tombs, level up your technofanatics, and have a great time. I can't wait for Mechanicus 2!

11. Blood Will Tell This is on the list because of the premise, and how it's implemented. Based off the manga, you play as a samurai who's everything was taken by demons. You have a knee-cannon and a elbow machine gun, and start the game in greyscales (because you have no eyes!). Brilliant. :D

9. Zeus: Master of Olympus PEAK city builder. The same company made a bunch of similar game in various eras, and they were all great. Charming, fun, and you could piss off the gods so much they'd invade your city. Good times. :D

8. Darkside Detective, 1 and 2. I don't play a ton of point-and-click adventure games, but the setting and writing in Darkside Detective are too good to pass. I've played both games multiple times, just because the writing is so fun (and my memory is awful)

7. Potionomics Like Fields of Mistria, it is a game I will not stop gushing over. I absolutely love it - the gameplay is fun, the writing is smart, the characters are amazing. It's all around a fantastic time and I will talk your ears off about it. :D
