A nostalgia-packed homage to both horror and the intricate tapestry of DC’s event-driven history.
Every moment imagining scenes for the Scarecrow, a character I've loved to be scared of since I was 5(!!!), only enforced how much I love writing, especially for comics.
I've been through a lot since my Talent Search win in 2022 (stories for another time) and the script for that was submitted during one of the darkest hours. Writing the one that comes out tomorrow, though, despite its dark themes, was one of my happiest creative experiences.
