I ran a courtroom proceeding tonight in my DnD campaign. I've thrown subtle clues and red herrings at the party for the last 4 months of gameplay. They convicted the wrong man and only realized it when they pieced the evidence together. Seeing their collective epiphany in real time was glorious.

Isn't that the best feeling in the world? To have your players figure something out or if they haven't and you get to be the one to reveal it to them to their shock and wonder. It's what I live for.
