Part of my progress to the next level of gardening! Trying to use some of our existing plants to fuel next year’s garden instead of buying all new seedlings each year. These are from runners cut off my existing hanging basket strawberries. Fingers crossed they grow roots! ❤️❤️

It’s September so I’m moving more and more from gardening mode to preserving mode 😅 but both are SO fulfilling! These are roasted cherry tomato salsa, spicy garlic dill pickles, and tomato sauce we’ve made this past week or so. Not all of the ingredients came from my garden, but most did! ☺️

First salsa of the year, a roasted cherry tomato salsa! We’ve reached a harvesting rate for the cherry tomatoes that I get enough for this every week right now from my two plants. Struggled with this recipe last year but I think this batch might finally be a winner! ^_^
