Don't do this. You can get rid of Copilot *without* editing your registry. You need a program called Geek Uninstaller. It's reputable. Check around. Copilot relies on Edge. Without Edge, there is no Copilot. Use Geek Uninstaller, choose Edge, right click, "Force Removal." Easy to do or reverse.

For me it's even simpler. I don't use Windows🤭

Why tell people not to use the registry method?

Any issues arise from this method? If you know. Did this when mine showed up and haven’t encountered anything yet but would be good to know!

Or use "Windows Uninstaller ™️" 😉 of which there are several flavors -- Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, SuSE, Pop! OS, Gentoo, Void, Nix OS, etc. Or one of the FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, BSDi, etc. (Or if you're really brave, explore Haiku OS, which after more than two decades is almost at Version 1.0 😉)

I've only got 10, but Edge pisses me off. Off to track down Geek Uninstaller. Victory shall be mine!
