I don't know how to explain to you that it's weird and disturbing to want to be hurtful to people. To look for the opportunity, to savor and enjoy it. To just seek out ways to be mean. Not to defend yourself or someone else, just for its own sake. That's fucking creepy, bro.
Some people REALLY can't face the idea that they're not perfect as they are NOW. Thus, the closest attempt they dare make at "self improvement" is tearing down people who are not them. No change on their part necessary. They stay still, the world gets worse around them. Because they're cowards.

I'm very clumsy socially, so I've inadvertently hurt people before. It always felt awful, and those thoughts have crossed my mind of how people could, and would want to, do it intentionally.
I agree. It is very creepy and highly disturbing. There is a level of dangerousness to the mind that feels joy and pleasure from stalking victims to be cruel to and see one's victims hurt. No greater threat exists than a predator on the hunt driven by nothing other than a desire to see suffering.
