I’m probably biased but I don’t think swift will ever be as complex to learn as rust. The swift DX is miles ahead of rust. 🤷‍♂️

I feel like rust and swift are too similar to pick rust over swift (which I’m already very good at) If I were to make a language change I’d want it to be very different from swift. But, you’re making me think I should just stick with swift 😉
