I had almost a sitcoms worth of emails trying to get meta to remove the fake "RaefMeeuwisse" account on Threads and Instagram. It's still there. Life's too short. One of the wierdest moments was when they said I wasn't emailing from the scammers freemail email address, but from my actual domain...

That last one is because no human has looked at your case yet and the system has already decided based on bad heuristics that the other account is "real". A human on the support staff would apply common sense and override the heuristic.
