We, in Ireland, are just finishing our Decade of Centenaries during which courageous female researchers reported on hitherto covered up or ignored sexual violence against women. It has been a revelation and hard to stomach but the truth always has to be welcome however hard.
Powerfully written and she's right. That's the problem with this whole conflict. Both sides are in the wrong and while Israel is the only one with the power to change things that doesn't absolve Hamas of responsibility for its actions. Atrocity breeds atrocity and the cycle of violence continues.
