Totally! Repurpose those things—firewood, art projects, parts. I haven’t been piano shopping (because I paid $$$ to movers & have a tolerance for strange harmonics & creaks, and no one is trying to play/sing along) but my understanding is that the new instrument-quality-to-price ratio is excellent.
