This is terrible, but it was an awful place to watch a game.

It really wasn't, though? View from the stands was great, it had a bit of "old baseball" charm with the bullpens in the field of play & turf renovations made it fine as a ball field. I think its biggest hurdle was a lack of natural lighting, so it could never shake the "playing in a warehouse" vibe.

It's a weird thing. I've been to over half the current MLB parks now. Tropicana is down at the bottom, but I think they do a good job presenting the game within the limits of the venue. Food, good audio for announcements and music.
