🤔okay so! from here on i'll lump anything ref-aligned under the tag #RahRefs (which will double as making it a feed, if i'm understanding things correctly!) Starting with some trivia tldr; the way i draw eyes on my characters aren't just purely for aesthetics (insofar as ocs are concerned, anyway)!

A sketched, mostly monochrome image featuring a rabbit/bat hybrid saying "I like doing funky things with eyes" and showing off some examples. The eyes in question as listed as follows: -"Average human/animal/furry/etc." and have typical sclera (eye whites) color + pupil styles -"Abnormal/Monster/Fae*" with the eyes featuring light pupils with typical sclera, alongside target-like pupils with dark or black sclera -"Demons," with eyes featuring sclera that are either white or black, with both having yellow pupils.
The same rabbit/bat hybrid continues, showing off two examples of this in action (ft. my two main fursonas, the rabbat and the cat/deer). They say "By my design rules, I'm just some guy! Meanwhile, the "deer cat" is a monster/abnormal."
The rabbit/bat continues showcasing a third example, seemingly the deer cat seen previously. It is not the same character, and a note on the side labels them as a Demon (specifically a Doppelganger). They say "You'd think Demons are the easiest to spot, but not quite. Yellow is a natural eye color in my OCvrese, and plenty of Demons can alter their looks."
