8) Harleen Quinzel has the strength to leave an awful relationship and find real love with Pamela Isley. She is Magnificently embodied by Margot Robbie in my favorite superhero movie: Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn.
7) www.seananmcguire.com/velhome.php The Princess is the embodiment of what all the world's children believe about Princesses. She's a good friend to Velveteen. The Princess is my favorite Seanan McGuire character.
Charlie Bradbury is one of many Felicia Day characters who I love. I'm a geek and I appreciate character who wield their geek bonafide as sword and shield against monsters metaphorical and literal.
5)I could pick quite a few characters from Owl House. Luz is a particular favorite because she's so in love with life. She loves magic school, both her families, and her significant other who she meets along the way.
4) Heather After is my favorite character in the Sandman Universe. I've soured on Gaiman, but not on G. Willow Wilson. Heather is a brilliant example of Trans Woman as magician. She's chaotic as heck and yet will go to the wall for a friend.
3) Hubert Hawkins is my favorite of the many roles played by Danny Kaye. You may recognize the name Giacamo, King of Jesters and Jester to the King more easily as Hubert spends most of the movie impersonating him. The Court Jester always brings a smile to my face.
2) I read the Marvelous Land of Oz as a kid and I desperately wanted to grow up to be Princess Ozma. I reread that book so many times.
Kate Godwin is a Trans Woman Superhero created by the inimitable Rachel Pollack. She was the best character of one of the best runs of DC's Doom Patrol.
My expectations of cops ever doing anything remotely good or useful are so low that the fact they're doing this instead of shooting innocent people at that particular moment in time feels suspiciously like a win.
