It’s been 15 years since school for me and most of my friends who teach do legal writing, which isn’t blind at all, but IIRC for even big classes there was a participation grade and a curve that was adjusted at the end of term. The idea that her hostility simply cannot affect her grading is bananas.

And of course you shouldn’t have to attend school in a hostile environment in any event, so…
