It is my genuinely held belief that anyone opposing unionization in their studio is admitting to not caring about the quality of the games or the people making games. Empowered people make better games. People with stability make better games. People that feel safe make better games.

Hard agree. On top of that, these are prerequisites for quality of life in general, but some people insist in making these discussions unreasonably long.

I mean, really... HOW COULD YOU NOT be in favor of unionizing yk? That's literally one of the major reasons why the industry is falling apart. Because the companies do wth they think they can with devs and their employees. This also applies for tech companies

100%. I feel this way about every company. If they weren't treating their people badly they wouldn't be afraid of them wanting to protect their rights.

I was recently watching a discussion about the differences between Shadowlands and Dragonflight, and having worked on both when asked to give my thoughts just said "I think happier devs make better expansions."

I want games with worse graphics, that take longer to make, but well paid unionized workers.
