Since it’s spooky month, I thought it might be interesting to share something that *actually* scares me Spiders. I’m arachnophobic but in a weird way that applies to spiders only Scorpions & ticks skeeve me out, but no more than other bugs It’s spiders that I have a visceral reaction to (1/3)

When I was younger I tried to ‘cure’ my phobia by learning more about them But that ended up just making me afraid if spiders that live on other continents or that have been extinct for millennia To say nothing of black widows and brown recluses in my home state of Ohio (2/3)
