CCS works well if you've got a spare oil field or two. Use them and no neighbours to piss off. Also needs a shit tonne of money, preferably someone else's Hmmmm, what do petrochemical companies have?

Also, if the oil companies are so confident in it, they can pay for the entirety themselves with their massive, huge profits, and then sell excess carbon credits if they *have* to make money out of it.
