I still think game is in it's infancy in how it tell stories, but I fully believe that trying to mirror movies/tv shows and taking away interactivity as a storytelling device is the wrong way to do it, games is a interactive medium that needs to use it's strenghts...
and not trying to be cosplay of something else.
